fScanX Automator Action: Scan to a Specific Folder |

You can configure a workflow to scan into a specific folder. (Also, instead of double-clicking the workflow application you created earlier, you can drag a folder onto it and it will default to scanning into that folder.) You can create a workflow that defaults to a specific folder by adding an action that provides the folder to the fScanX action. Search for the "Get Specified Finder Items" action and drag it in above the fScanX action:
Click the "Add" button in the new panel that appears:
Choose the folder you want and click the "Add" button:
You should now have a workflow that looks like this:
Save the workflow. When you launch it, it will default to the folder which you specified here. (You will still be able to change the folder if you want.) Next: how to scan from the Finder. |
